  • 2 cups milk
  • ¼ cup butter
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 tspn. Nutmeg or ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tspn salt
  • 6 cups soft bread cubes (about 6 slices bread)
  • ½ cup raisins (optional) and;
  • Whipping (heavy) cream, (optional)

Steps to make Your Bread Pudding

Now that you have the ingredients required, simply follow the steps to make one.

Step number 1. Heat the oven to 350°F. Using a 2qt saucepan, simply heat butter and milk on medium heat until the milk is hot and the butter has melted.

Step number 2. In a big bowl, combine salt, cinnamon, sugar and eggs. Stir in the raisins and bread cubs and add milk. Pour them into the ungreased deep round pan.

Step number 3. Bake it as is for the next 40 to 45 minutes or until such time the knife inserted 1” from edge comes out clean.
